Wondercon
Last week ended sour. I ended up working till 11pm on friday in correcting a clients website.
On the sweeter side of last week, I did some Amazon damage:

- Too Tough to Die [ORIGINAL RECORDING REISSUED] [ORIGINAL RECORDING REMASTERED]

Rolling Stones

And
Strange Messenger: The Work of Patti Smith by Patti Smith
Justice League - Season One DVD (pre-ordered)
Blondie Greatest Hits: Sound & Vision (CD+DVD) (pre-ordered)
They should be streamin in today and tomorrow.
On Sat I went to Wondercon with my friend Bill. We got there early and the line was huge and the security was trickling people in. I had pre-registered online.
I ended up getting:
- Fantastic Four Visionares vol 1 - 4 by John Byrne
- Marvel Masterworks: X-men
- Marvel Masterworks: Avengers
- Villains United (for a friend)
I also got the following DVDs:
- Queen - Live in London Xmas Eve 1975 (Freddie M. performs in white spandex, black leotard and short shorts but not all at the same time)
- The Mars Volta - 3 disc set of live shows in Philly, PA and London, UK
- The Ramones - Live 1977 includes Don Kirshner show plus 2 gigs in Houston, TX
I only went to one panel (in San Diego i live at them). Went to DCU 2006: The Best is Yet to Come. Best bit was when they mentioned Grant Morrison would be writing Batman. Unfortunately, they pre-released the info as this was to be an exclusive with the crap magazine Wizard. At least they kept mum about the artist so Wizard gets at least one exclusive. Altough its already over the net that it'll be the Kubert Bros.
If you have FLICKR, you can see Bill's pics here.
