grabbed a cab home after the queer latino art exhibit. as the cabbie dropped me off at home, i reached for my wallet. he cleared the meter and told me, you don't have to pay. I was like huh? He said "I can tell its hard for you, and I'm sure it's hard to make money." I realized he thought I was a poor feeb!!! I just said, "are you sure?" "Yes," he replied. Me: "Thank you. You are very generous."

Then I gave him a show by slowly getting out the cab, and overemphasizing my limp to the sidewalk and up the stairs.
